I did it... I was convinced...

This mint coloured perfection you see at the top of this post... is what some would call this a Green Monster.

Now I have never heard of this particular item before, until I read one of my more favorite blogs from a fellow mommy over at ; my monster was slightly different than the one she posted... mine didn't have flax seed.

It turned out fairly good, I drank almost every bit of it! There was a little left and I got busy with the girls and somehow forgot it on the side of the table. So look at that a surge of Potassium, Calcium and Iron all in one shot. I will not complain...

I keep getting fitter and healthier!


  1. I think about making this green monster but I don't think there is any way I will be able to drink it. It looks really healthy though. Maybe I should just suck it up and try it.

    And try it, it is NOWHERE near as bad as it seems. Looks green and gross, but the spinach is so light in flavour and pretty darn sweet tasting.

    Other greens might be really nasty like this.

  3. I don't know if I can do the green monster, but in the meantime I'm trying Greens +, which is a powdered drink that provides part of the veggie servings you need that day. Pros: mixed berry flavor tastes great. Cons: Color is ick. Wish it could have the nice mint color you've got here!
